We're Like Oil and Water

Red Tartan Skirt & Jewellery - Vintage (skirt via Ebay)
Cross Earrings - Urban Outfitters
Creepers - Underground
Velvet Crop Tee - American Apparel
Hat - H&M
Fishnets - Primark

I apologise for the wind again! It is pouring it down with rain here now (literally torrential!), I could see the sheets of rain heading towards my sister's apartment - the transition of weather here is so crazy! Anyway, these were the only decent photographs out of the bunch as most of them looked like this...
Haha funny...

Enough of my rambling. I got this skirt off ebay, I really like it but it is a little on the big side... Don't you just hate it when the auction says it is a certain size when really it isn't? Nevertheless is was £1.99 so I should stop my complaining! I just folded the top over and put a belt around it temporarily (hopefully doesn't look too bad!), until I can be bothered to take it in! I had been looking for a red tartan skirt for a while, so I was happy when I was the highest bidder at £1.99!

As you can see, there is literally no sign of purple in my hair :( it has all disappeared. If anybody has any tips on using semi-permanent dye (preferably purples/pinks) then please let me know?! My dye was called 'Directions' by La Riche but it doesn't seem to take to my hair!

Anyway I must go, I am going out for dinner soon :). I would just like to say a big thank you to Madeline from Jean Greige, she kindly put up a post about me on her blog which you can find here if you haven't seen it already! She is one of my favourite bloggers so it was really surreal when she put it up! It has made me very happy :). Have a nice night everyone!

  1. Manic panic works really well (the purple especially lasts a long time). It also stays longer if you shampoo less/only shampoo the roots!

  2. I recommend using Manic Panic! It's vegan, so it's way better for your hair compared to other dyes.. I mean it's still not technically 'good' for your hair, but waaaay better than all the other chemicals other companies use. Ugh I love this skirt.. Isn't eBay the best?!! Except for when you're lied to concerning sizing as you mentioned happened to you. Oh well, ya live and ya learn!

I've used paintbox fudge, to dip dye my hair....they have a great range of colours :) and i can say both the pink and the purple are good ! x

Holy crap, I need one. And your hat is DARLING! I'm coveting those creepers of yours as well. And on top of having insane style, you happen to be freakin' gorgeous too.
